This was amazing. It was sad and beautiful and happy and perfect. Brian recognised Justin and figured out it was him earlier and they got to talk and *kiss* and ... and ... "They're playing our song"? And "I'm going with him"? And every single other line of this, really. There are no words for how good it was.
I really don't know how to comment on this, because I'll just end up mentioning every single part I loved - like how Brian's beautiful place was his dance with Justin; and the way it all happened on the anniversary of the Prom, in the ballroom where they were happy; and Brian's reaction to dying and being asked how he felt; and how Justin made his decision and said "I'm going with him"; and - see? Everything.
So just, yeah, I love this story. And am so glad you wrote it, even if you did break everyone reading it. Because you put us all back together in the end.
