I love that you are keeping Justin's sense of self as an important motivator. I tend to think that the doormat Justin so predominate in Polish fics would think that losing who he essentially is would be a small price to pay to be with Brian. And that is fine and dandy and there is no exploration of the loss of self and the damages that comes when you give that up. It's like the whore fic that never explored the whoredom. It makes me cry. This makes me cry, too. The crying is totally different though.
